The Symposium returns to the Old Parliament House, with the working sessions held in the atmospheric surroundings of the former parliamentary debating chamber.
Always popular, the Symposium features no scheduled speakers or speeches. Instead, it is shaped by the delegates themselves through free-flowing discussions on current issues affecting the practice of commercial arbitration. Delegates whose topics are selected will be invited to introduce them, followed by an open discussion moderated by experienced co-chairs from Singapore and abroad.
The topics will be grouped into themes and allocated to one of the three working sessions. However, the session titles are not prescriptive, and participants are encouraged to raise questions on any matter relevant to the practice of commercial arbitration.
Each delegate is invited to submit at least two questions or topics for discussion when registering. There is no limit to the number of topics that may be submitted, and additional questions may be emailed to secretariat@siarb.org.sg.
To preserve the effectiveness of the format, places are limited, so please register early to secure your place.
The Symposium will conclude with a networking drinks reception. Delegates are also invited to attend the SIArb Annual Dinner immediately afterwards, providing a further opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends from the arbitration community. Symposium registrants are entitled to 20% off the Annual Dinner. Further details of the Annual Dinner will be provided in due course.

Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points are reminded that they must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For participants attending the face-to-face activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the activity for more than 15 minutes.
