Members attended a scintillating seminar on “The Discretion to Enforce” on 27 August 2019, which was jointly presented by Ms Amanda Lees and Ms Christine Artero.

In this seminar, Ms Artero first brought the audience through a comparison of the approaches taken in various jurisdictions across the globe. This was followed by a presentation by Ms Lees on the recent case law in Singapore and Hong Kong, and explored issues such as the implied duty of good faith in conducting arbitration proceedings.

It was, in all, an extremely informative session with very helpful global perspectives.
