About the Seminar:
In this lecture, we will consider the claims arising out of a maritime casualty, based on a scenario involving a collision between two ships. This will include a review of the possible inter-ship claims, cargo claims (including a comparison of the obligations under the Hague-Visby and Rotterdam Rules) and salvage, SCOPIC and general average, oil pollution, wreck removal, loss of life and personal injury issues.
