About the Seminar:
On 1 May 2013, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) will release its revised Administered Arbitration Rules. The release follows a year-long revision process, and is the first update since the Rules were originally issued in 2008. The revised Rules include significant new features, reflecting HKIAC's status as one of the world's leading arbitral institutions.
Justin D'Agostino, member of the HKIAC Council and Head of the Greater China Arbitration practice at Herbert Smith Freehills, and Ruth Stackpool-Moore, Managing Counsel of the HKIAC, will explain the key revisions and what they mean for users of HKIAC arbitration.
Camilla Godman, Deputy Registrar of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), will offer a comparative perspective from the standpoint of the 2010 SIAC Arbitration Rules. This will be followed by ample time for discussion and questions from the floor.
Please join us for what promises to be a lively discussion – and be among the first to get a glimpse of the new HKIAC Rules.
