About this Seminar:-

Given the evolution and development of arbitration of commercial disputes over the past 30 years, will mandatory publication of awards with appropriate safeguards as to confidentiality, strengthen or weaken the process in Singapore?

Should arbitrators welcome or fear their written word being read, and would the possibility of some facts become public knowledge push commercial parties to choose litigation instead?

This talk aims to bring out the issues involved in a deceptively simple question which has implications at an individual and collective level for arbitrators.
